Daily Duties at Red Dot Corporation:
Lean manufacturing support, introduction of new processes and equipment, training personnel, new product introduction to manufacturing. Perform DFMA analysis on new products prior to release to production. Research and recommend new equipment and processes that will improve product flow and reduce costs. Design work cell layout and process flow. Perform cost-benefit analysis on new equipment for upper management review. Train operators on new equipment & processes. Write work procedures and specifications. Maintain welding procedures and operator certifications, perform welding certification tests. Maintain 15+ mass flow leak testers throughout the facility by performing routine service, programing the test variables, trouble shooting production issues, design & fabrication of jigs and fixtures for dozens of new product configurations. Technical engineering & fabrication support for Kaizen process improvement events. Conduct ISO 9001 internal audits. Maintain production equipment database containing maintenance & repair history, machine specs and manuals.
