Daily Duties at Fts International:

As Strategic Sourcing Manager I was responsible for leading and managing strategic sourcing, supplier performance and evaluation, in accordance with company goals and objectives. Procure goods and services in support of operations as needed. Collected, interpreted, and analyzed procurement data related to overall spending as it relates to Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Performance evaluations in accordance with Global Supply Chain and Procurement policies. Analyzed market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability, and prepared reports. Prepared and reviewed contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications. Ensured they are in accordance to company Supply Chain policies and procedures. Directed and managed strategic sourcing projects and personnel assigned to projects. Maintained procurement records such as items or services purchased costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories. Monitored procurement records to meet company requirements. Discussed defective and unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source, of trouble and took corrective action. I was responsible for recruiting and maintaining suppliers that would provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct. Weekly reviewed purchase order claims, contracts, and invoices for conformance to company policy. Oversaw all activities related to procurement of materials, parts, equipment, supplies, and tools from the intent to purchase through the delivery. Negotiated and supervised the negotiation of request for equipment, supplies, and services from supplies, and services from suppliers and subcontractors. Met with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
