Daily Duties at Lord Abbett & Co., Llc:
Acting as a generalist, I assisted the small-cap, micro-cap and smid-cap value portfolio managers in new stock selection and portfolio maintenance, with the majority of my efforts spent within the business services, industrial, materials, and consumer sectors. Led monthly meetings with the sales force that detailed portfolio strategy and positioning. The smid-value fund grew from $1B to $5B in AUM during my tenure, and I was heavily involved in marketing the fund to prospective institutional clients.
