Daily Duties at Cisco Systems Professional Services Organizaton:
- Supported 100s of Field Delivery Engineers across the globe to more effectively support and deliver their Network Optimization Service Customers (880M Revenue) - Drove increased Productivity/Improvement of people, process, and tools on behalf of Advanced Services (Professional Services to all outside of Cisco) - Technical Focal/Escalation Point between Services Field Organization and product BUs as well as Release Managers, enabling more effective resolution of operation/service impacting bugs preventing customers from rolling out new software releases into their critical production network - Increased Awareness of BUs regarding critical Customer/Services Needs, enabling higher customer satisfaction as well as solidifying/maintaining a good Cisco-Customer relationship, facilitating a smoother contract renewal process. -Increased Critical Information flow from internal Product BUs out to Service organization/invaluable customer base, helping Field Engineers to more proactively and effectively manage their Network devices' ongoing Lifecycle management. - Increased overall Collaboration between Services Organization and Key Business Units, resulting in win-win-win for Services, the BUs, and, most importantly, the customer base. - Increased Synergy between Marketing and Delivery Teams that enabled more effective communication of upcoming hardware and software feature/functionality as well as End of Life Milestones. - Trained Field Engineers to be more comfortable and effective with key Core Network Optimization deliverables. - Successfully Mentored junior members/co-ops of team to increase impact when they joined their respective delivery teams - Tech Lead in development and implementation of specialization training and certification program that enabled as well as validated a certain level of competence across key areas associated with more effective support and delivery of core Network Optimization services
