Daily Duties at Department Of Treasury:

Served at the pleasure Chief Information Officer, supported the design, testing, implementation, and the transitional planning of the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) Tax Systems Modernization Effort, which consisted of 24 legacy systems and 45 modernization initiatives. Supported the development of the conceptual approaches critical in the support of and maintenance of the enterprise architecture planning and framework associated with the Treasury Enterprise Architecture Framework (TEAF) Methodology. Specifically: *Reviewed legacy requirements versus new business scenarios. *Conducted system analysis and development, with limited support from professional staff, to keep our systems current with changing technologies. *Analyzed, design, coordinate and supervise the development of software systems to form a basis for the solution of information processing problems. *Analyzed system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for IRM. *Analyzed Operational Programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic business solutions. *Developed new programs and proofing the program needed changes to assure production of a quality product. Accomplishments Personal contributions included: • The Concept of Operations for the Integrated Test and Control Facility; • The Design Master Plan; • Tax Systems Support Architecture; • Test and Evaluation Master Plan; and, • Submission Processing Test and Evaluation Plan
