Daily Duties at Navy Wounded Warrior Safe Harbor:

This position maintains primary responsibility for the development and implementation of the Comprehensive Recovery Plan (CRP) assigned to all Recovering Service Members (RSM) enrolled in the program from wound, illness or injury to recovery and return to work. • Create and implement a complete audit, report and compliance standard for all CRP’s in the SE Region. • Provide assistance in overseeing and coordinating services and resources identified in the CRP. • Ensure that the Recovering Service Member (RSM) and family and/or caregiver have access to all medical and non-medical services throughout the continuum of care. • Minimize delays and gaps in treatment of services through diligent monitoring of services. • Provide a copy of the CRP to the RSM upon completion and when changes are needed. • Review and update the CRP as necessary based upon the RSM’s needs and during each phase of care. • Coordinate the transfer of CRP to appropriate personnel should the RSM receive a change in location of care. • Coordinate all steps of recovery through medical care, retirement, resumes and job search.
