Daily Duties at Rbc Global Markets:
Sector head, running consumer and retail group and co-managing the global cash equity sales and trading desks. Day to day management of our risk, managed and reported p&l. Dealt with global compliance to assure we were complaint across the board 100% of the time. Covered accounts from both the trading and sales trading sides. Managed both seamlessly. Multi-tasking all day every day. 100+ outgoing calls on consumer and retail news, earnings data, conference information, sector strategy, sector data. All while also trading all consumer flow, managing risk and p&l. And marketing all of this to the firms sales traders and research sales people to be able to touch and cover the firms global clients.
