Daily Duties at Us Coast Guard Communications Station Kodiak:
Responsible for performance across a 1500 mile area ensuring the division maintained the local and remote HF communications maintained and repaired when needed. Sites were often remote and required extensive travel to unsupported locations for field support. Transmitter division also maintained the NAVTEX broadcast and WXFAX for the mariners in Alaska.
