Daily Duties at Jacob's Engineering:

initially hired as contract employee with Kelly services to lead a design team through the production of an 800-page 700 million dollar engineering proposal for a contract with NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Shortly after first three months of employment, I was hired as a full time employee on 9/1999. At that point I proceeded to complete the project with a group of seven (7) graphic designers and ten (10) word processors. 6 months later was offered the position of senior graphics media designer. Responsibilities: I acted as lead designer regarding the creation of key sections of Jacobs’s corporate website. Lead designer in development of corporate identity guide, team leader in the re-development of Jacobs’s intranet and new e-company-on-line store site. Led design team, which created all corporate multinational ads, direct mail pieces, brochures and annual reports. Team leader on all corporate multimedia road show presentations and worked directly with all vendors associated with local and international printing projects. Directed all pre and post press activities from paper selection to final web press checks. All designs and layouts created on Windows 95 and 98 workstations using: PageMaker 6.5, Quark Express, Illustrator 8.0, Corel Draw 9.0, MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat 4.0, PowerPoint, Photoshop 6.0, Freelance, Macromedia Dreamweaver 3.0, Flash 4.0, and Fireworks.
