Daily Duties at Presence Saint Joseph & Saint Francis Hospitals:
FINANCE/CUSTOMER SERVICE/ PROBLEM SOLVING • Oversee five information desk operations and consistently promote provision of exceptional customer service • Streamlined Lost and Found process by utilizing an electronic reporting system • Established a 1.5 FTE dock position to improve safety of the southwest entrance to the building and efficiently manage deliveries and delivery personnel’s access to the hospital • Manage finances through cost-effective department budgeting by lowering FTE overtime from 8.6% to 1.6% DETAIL MASTERY & ORGANIZATION • Developed and implemented Code Pink drills to validate policies, evaluate and improve processes • Organize attendance record keeping and progressive disciplinary action records • Maintain knowledge of the City of Chicago Police, Fire, and Community protocols COMMUNICATION: REPORTS/PRESENTATIONS • Author policies and procedures pertaining to safety and maintenance of Saint Joseph Hospital facility while maintaining compliance with state mandates. • Prepare complex reports for Presence Health and ensuring full compliance with safety requirements and time targets. • Author professional correspondence to patients, families and vendors. • Design and deliver Crisis Prevention classes for Presence Health o Provide, counsel and educate employees on proper de-escalation techniques to avoid conflict and injury
