Daily Duties at The Eastern Iowa Airport:

• Develop and implement annual strategic and operational marketing plan, identifying program goals and objectives to meet airport objectives • Manage marketing budget of $425,000 • Communicate strategic written guidance regarding air service, media relations, public affairs, and government affairs to project the positions and image of The Eastern Iowa Airport • Proactively anticipate and respond to sensitive and high impact issues, critical needs and areas of special concern to Commission, such as, political issues, capital development issues, and financial and operational issues • Research and provide analysis on air carrier patterns, airfare changes, equipment changes, route changes, performance, and the potential impact these may have on The Eastern Iowa Airport • Develop and oversee Airport customer service training program for Commission employees and designated tenants, including supervising Information Desk Representatives • Produce creative marketing presentations and incentive programs to aggressively pursue improved air service, industrial development, and business opportunities • Build relationships with legislators, business, and government representatives to promote and coordinate services and funding • Develop advertising, promotion, and collateral materials that support primary marketing activities, to include disseminating information to media sources as required; prepare news releases and press kits • Foster relationships with convention meeting planners, hospitality industry, statewide association executives, governmental agencies, vendors and business leaders • Represent The Eastern Iowa Airport as media spokesperson and at related community affairs, air shows, travel and trade shows, and in local and national aviation organizations • Solicit regular communication and customer feedback on Airport programs and services to ensure continual improvement
