Daily Duties at National Oilwell Varco:
An extensive and in depth training program. I learned all about the oil industry through classes, then I traveled around the US to gain experience at different locations and in different engineering positions. I trained and achieved certifications on many company and public computer programs and presented on one of the company computer programs. I received presentation training and wrote and presented extensive market and tool analysis reports. Studied and presented on various drilling tools as a Drilling Solutions Engineer in the Momentum Training Program. DSEs analyzed drilling data and geological survey data to recommend solutions for customers through altering drilling parameters or adding specific drilling tools to their system.
