Daily Duties at Los Alamos National Laboratory:

Repeatedly and rapidly promoted to lead a team of 20 in cytometry, spectroscopy and instrumentation in developing high-throughput harvesting, extraction, purification, diagnostics and processing of bio and petro fuels. Acted as Team Lead of harvesting and extraction for a consortium of 36 institutions, including three labs, 30 biofuels companies and 10 universities with a budget of $10M. Worked with legal counsel to establish IP portfolio and balance patent versus trade secret against marketability and technology transfer strategies. Co-founded National Association Algal Biofuels and Bioenergy
