Daily Duties at Sterling Chemicals, Inc.:
Led a team of six employees responsible for safety, health, emergency response and security at a 290-acre plant site with approximately 300 employees, including a four-month labor dispute. Developed and implemented safety awareness and training programs following OSHA VPP standards achieving top quartile safety performance. Wrote and implemented a Facility Security Plan in compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations.
