Daily Duties at Blockbuster, Llc:
• Assisted in the integration of Blockbuster Inc to Dish Blockbuster LLC at store level, and training SMIT for future management by motivating co-workers through positive feedback and encouragement and responded quickly and thoughtfully in challenging situations • Created a Communications and Engagement Plan for the integration of blockbuster and Dish and executed against that plan to ensure there was limited resistance and impact to the organization as a whole • Created a training plan, and training sessions for the deployment of new software • Conducted routine checkpoints with each store including face to face engagements to ensure the transition of the change was implemented smoothly • Managed and lead multiple locations initiatives to drive business growth and reduce expenses through focused human resource management strate¬gies and efficient allocation of internal resources • Acquired the leadership skills, human resources management experience, and employee development expertise to successfully lead the HR organiza¬tion • Excelled at assessing performance levels, promoting the development of skill sets, increasing the effectiveness of internal leadership and communica¬tions and devising targeted training programs designed to streamline operations and ensure top performance • In charge or onboarding new management (as a result of the change). The coaching efforts resulted greatly impacting the management style going forward and a more results driven new leadership
