Daily Duties at Desert Oasis Healthcare:

Promoted from Health Education Coordinator to Health Education Manager to build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the health education department and the Desert Oasis Healthcare. Recruited, trained, mentored, counseled, and evaluated performances of direct reports, and delegated tasks and responsibilities to appropriate staff member. Identified and resolved issues and conflicts within the health education team. Achieved high staff morale and retention through effective communication, problem resolution, and proactive supervisory practices and facilitating a positive work environment. Developed and arranged continuing education opportunities for all staff to increase knowledge and skills. Set and continually managed health education program expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Facilitated the preparation and analysis of reports, proposals, and presentations. Prepared annual budget to support training and material purchases, and collaborated with directors, provider relations, and any other department to coordinate educational programs in support of DOHC’s marketing program
