As a student to Professor Kai Landskron, conducted research into electrodes for a carbon capture project financially backed by ARPA-E. Coordinated design, synthesis, and characterization of electrodes, as well as synthesis and characterization of organic-inorganic hybrid nanoporous materials for gas sorption and separation. Research Assistant (2011-2015) • Successfully completed Ph.D. Thesis: “Supercapacitive Swing Adsorption of Carbon Dioxide.” • Balanced highly complex requirements and data sets to effectively achieve research goals. Teaching Assistant (2010-2015) Provided support and guidance for students in both the physical chemistry and organic labs. Reviewed and scored lab reports and notebooks. Coordinated lab practice sessions. Maintained safety and proper laboratory behavior by monitoring student performance. Provided individual tutoring as needed.
