Engaged in extensive research into to the loss of function of the tumor suppressor genes: the TERE1 (UBIAD1) prenyltransferase, and BAP1, an epigenetic regulator of chromatin, publishing five papers and securing two research grants; developed a foundation of knowledge towards the development of new targeted cancer therapies.
