This is the place I learned the industry from A to Z. Although it is a small forwarding company with limited staff but I was able to learn and do different things that reflect all phrase of importing: Responsible for all import activities including scheduling, quoting, tracing and tracking, managing all modes of transportation, filing entries, dispatching, paying duty via statement ACH/PMS, A/P and A/R, managing break bulk operation. Developed and implemented standard import procedures to ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, HS commodity classification, and CFR 19. Working closely with U.S. Customs, importers, and government agencies to ensure regulatory requirements and proper documentation and timely shipment processing. Manage multiple projects and tasks assigned while keeping key priorities on target.
