Daily Duties at Clutch Global Logistics:
Ensure import team is compliant with all applicable import laws and regulations to lessen company’s exposure to fines, penalties, or other potential costs. Obtaining Customs release and other government agency releases as warranted. Perform post entry functions - including applying for tariff concessions and duty refunds Formulate ideas and deliver possible trade savings opportunities Manage all regulatory compliance aspects of the import functions, including classification, valuation, marking, preferential tariff programs, and country of origin rules, ADD/CVD, OGAs, quotas & C-TPAT. Oversee Importer Security filing (ISF) program for import entries Interface with CBP and respond to all inquiries Monitor regulatory and legislative changes Perform compliance audits and identify areas of trade compliance risk
