*Oversaw day to day administration of procurement, sales/marketing and export departments. 1. Led department's overall planning activities 2. Developed specific and measurable departmental goals to conform with mission and vision of organization 3. Established departmental priorities and prepared/monitored the department's budget of over $17m 4. Provided overall directions for staff activities 5. Enhanced professional and career development of departmental staff through effective training, mentoring and performance evaluations 6. Solely responsible for recommending department's staffing levels and also for recruiting qualified staff to fill approved positions 7. Handled job interviews and helped prepare job descriptions and advertisements 8. Reviewed and directed all public statements and marketing advertisements 9. Solely responsible for intra and inter-organizational relations 10. Responsible for developing and executing annual goals and objectives and ensuring alignment of team and budget to achieve maximum efficiency 11. Interacted with business unit sales operations to develop, deploy and maintain policies. 12. Solely responsible for developing and establishing an export department to enhance market share. 13. Instituted and chaired Research and Development efforts within the organization
