Daily Duties at Carroll Hospice & Home Care:

Responsible for operations of all activities to include patient services, human resources, fiscal management, quality monitoring and evaluation and regulatory compliance. Responsible to assure that the basic standard of practice as defined in the CMS Hospice Conditions of Participation and Maryland State Nurse Practice Act are being followed. Responsible to improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization's mission. Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence. Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls. Management of agency budget in coordination with the Executive Director. Oversight of all educational opportunities for all new hires for both agencies as well as provide opportunities for staff in growth and development. Participates in legislative and regulatory activities as needed to help advocate for home care and hospice.
