Daily Duties at Engendren Llc:

· Responsible for $34M in total spend · Managed a department of 5 personnel · Through a mentoring program I helped each buyer develop a commodity strategy which was used as their roadmap to meet specific KPI and other key metrics required to support production. · Introduced and hired a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to support purchasing by auditing our current supplier base and any new supplier choices to insure they meet our high quality and performance standards. · Implemented supplier score cards · Introduced a raw material hedge program · Developed a new vendor on boarding program (supplier rationalization) · Established steel purchasing agreements to support launch of in-house fabrication shop. · Expanded Kanban and vendor managed inventory program to improve inventory turns and part availability at point of production. · Eliminated hardware crib by introducing point of production technology that improve tact time and operator efficiency (six sigma project). · Established KPI targets to support our customer year over year cost reduction and other performance goals. · Restructured the ERP system to better communicate schedule changes thru automation eliminating a very manual system.
