Daily Duties at Allied Telesis:

Hired as VP of Sales - Channel Operations. Promoted to VP of Sales Operations for NA. Managed team of Account Managers, System Engineers, Inside Sales and Sales Operations personnel. Managed 37m quota. 1. Develop Company Sales Strategy and define critical path for success. Report to the CEO on monthly progress against Quota and critical events. 2. Develop and implement Sales Quotas, Compensation Plans and tactical planning process for all Account Managers, Channel Managers, Inside Sales and System Engineer positions. 3. Create Channel Partner Program by defining Requirements & Entitlements, Discount Structure, POS Reporting, Certification & Competency, Performance Metrics, and Target Account Planning process. 4. Drive Channel Recruitment working with Sales team by identifying recruitment candidates, development of sales presentation, joint meetings with Partner executives, negotiation of Partner Agreements and Partner launch planning. 5. Hire, train and manage Account Managers, System Engineers and Inside Sales personnel to build a successful Sales team with excellent communications and customer satisfaction. 6. Develop and implement Channel Marketing elements including Marketing Communications, Trade Show Calendar, Channel Program collateral, Co-op & MDF policy and procedure. 7. Develop and implement Inside Sales goals & objectives, performance metrics, call scripts and presentations. 8. Develop and implement a Professional Services program to enable revenue generated by System Engineers including on-site service, installation services, customer migration, upgrades and root cause fault isolation. 9. Plan end user targets by vertical market, product application, company size and testimonial value.
