Mechanism action of hazardous, radioactive & heavy metal using In–vitro Toxicity analysis: Studied the role of oxidative stress in signaling cascade induced by uranium compound. Demonstrated the induction of heavy metal treated cells using DNA fragmentation from apoptotic signaling cascades. Studied the effect of carbon nanotubes (CNT) – The mechanism action of induction of oxidative stress leads cell death caused by CNT. Studied the effect of simulated microgravity on mouse testis analyzed using Caspase – 8/3 activities; effectors of apoptotic pathways: and transcription NF-κB signaling molecule. Studied the effect of long term environmental tobacco smoke investigation in Mouse Brain. Experimental design and techniques for collecting, evaluating and interpreting data in scientific / clinical / diagnostic research. Guide and trained undergrad, grad, intern students and new lab personals on techniques and instruments. Collaborated with international scientists and research resulted in joint authorship publications in scientific journals and presentations at national and international meetings. Instructor for a Neurotoxicology laboratory, supervising and assisting students with experiment techniques on cell culture handling, toxicity findings, collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data in laboratory assignments etc. Mentored and trained PG and UG students as part of summer NASA intern program at Texas Southern University.
