Daily Duties at Nasa Ames Research Center/ Usra:
Developed a label–free POC (point–of–care) biosensors device for health monitoring system to detect the various biomarkers involved in astronaut crew health and societal medical care monitor using carbon nanofibers (CNFs) based nanoelectrode arrays. Developed a Bio-FET (field–effect–transistor) biosensors for homeland security. Studied the biocompatibility of CNFs based NEAs biosensors system investigation. Studied the effects of Polyaniline–coated CNF arrays using pH biosensors, a potentiometric analysis. Experimental design and techniques for collecting, evaluating and interpreting data in scientific / clinical / diagnostic research. Instruct, guide and trained PhD, PG, UG, intern students and new lab personals on techniques and instruments. Collaborated research with international scientists, published results with joint authorship in scientific journals and present meetings at national and international conference.
