Daily Duties at Emirates Telecommunication Corporation:
1)Supervising a team of 20 staff responsible for monitoring the cellular/mobile RAN on 7X24 hour basis. 2) monitoring the Alarms for 2G/3G/4G-LTE cell sites (Ericsson, Alcatel Lucent, Huawei), IP based back haul links, Microwave broadband links etc. 3) Managing IMS tool (HP service manager) for Incident management, Change management , Configuration management. Opening a trouble ticket, adding technical value to it and escalating to the concerned field maintenance team for fault rectification and system recovery or restoration. 3) Extensive and continuous use of Huawei i-manager, M2000, ALU SAM, Ericsson OSS, for Alarm monitoring, trouble shooting, Trafic Data and KPI analysis. 4) Continuous Cordination with Core network staff, in order to ensure the smooth and fault free functioning of the Cellular Mobile network. 5) Guiding and providing necessary technical support to field maintenance team, thus ensuring fast or earliest recovery of cells during outage or breakdowns due to HW fault, back haul link failure or Power failures.. 6) Compiling fault and TTR (time to repair) report to generate KPI report for higher management.
