Daily Duties at Milcom Systems Corp.:
Was instrumental in the installation of tactical computer systems on board U.S. Naval ships and shore stations in accordance with schematic drawings, blueprints and diagrams. Aligned, fitted, and assembled component parts, using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, to interface into existing satellite communications systems. Successfully handled testing and on-site emergency repair of various computer systems; NTCS-A LAN Systems, SNAPlll FDDI Backbones, EHF Systems and CCTV, Fiber Optics ST Connectors. Provided user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrades and enhancement. Assembled electrical and electronic systems and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
