Daily Duties at Crescent Bank:

• Perform user-access management functions with Active Directory (AD), and other core Bank systems, includes the creation, modification, and removal of user and service accounts. • Perform regular user-access reviews and audits for AD and other core financial systems in accordance with the ISO 27002:2013 Security Framework. • Create and/or improve and document controls aimed at minimizing risk to the Bank’ Information Technology infrastructure. Controls are based on findings of a annual security assessments of the Bank’s information security infrastructure and methodologies. • Setup, configure, and administer Symantec Endpoint Protection Management Server on Windows Server 2012 Standard. • Responsible for the management and administration of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager and 750 endpoint systems, Windows 7 and 8 workstations and Windows 2008, 2012 server systems. Management includes maintenance of site configurations and setup and configuration of Group Update Providers for 42 site locations. • Setup, configure, and administer Symantec Whole Disk PGP Encryption (Linux OS) on VMware ESX virtual machine running ESXi 5.1. • Responsible for the management and administration of the company’s Symantec WDE PGP environment, used to provide data loss protection and compliance reporting for more than 450 laptop systems. • Setup, configure, and administer Symantec Whole Disk PGP Encryption (Linux OS) on VMware ESX virtual machine running ESXi 5.1. • Setup, configure, and administer RSA Authentication Manager (Linux 2.6 (32 bit) OS on VMware ESX virtual machine running ESXi 5.1. • Responsible for the daily management and oversight of VPN (Remote Access) using the RSA Authentication Manager 8.1. System is used to manage SecureID physical and software based tokens for approximately 250 remote users. • Responsible for the management and administration of the McAfee Web Gateway including the development of “Whitelist” and “Blacklist” rule sets tailored to the requirements of major departments. • Provide written impact analysis of major risk event activities and mitigation efforts. • Provide IT Security oversight for all network and systems, including the ongoing monitoring, assessment and the implementation of hardening measures based on IT Systems Security best practices. • Responsible for the development and management of “Big Rocks” project activities, which have included Systems Auditing Program Improvements, the implementation and facilitation of the Bank’s Patch and Vulnerability Program, and general business intelligence research to name a few. • Responsible for the management and oversight of workstation and server vulnerability patching activities. • Create and/or update policies and processes for systems across the Bank’s IT infrastructure. Policies include systems access procedures, procedures outlining the handling of threat events, processes for account creation and removal, and policies addressing the security posture of critical and non-critical IT resources.
