Daily Duties at Blood Systems, Inc. (Bsi) :

Established a new Training & Education department from the ground up. Directed the Corporate Office Training Department and facilitated field training activities for 18 blood center locations. Established and maintained company-wide training strategies and policies that support technical, supervisory and management training including new hire orientation and continuing education. Assessed, engaged and managed the Training & Education team by establishing best practice and consistent instructional design process and customer service standards. Built a strong and networked contingency of talented training professionals across the organization by organizing and hosting 15+ annual Training Specialist conferences which provided train-the-trainer sessions, continuing education, skill development, networking opportunities, mentoring and support of field training personnel.• Directly supervised a staff of 14 including mid-manager positions • Developed and delivered employee orientation, on-boarding, customer education technical training, and management development programs
