Daily Duties at Media General Inc.:

Professional responsible for increasing daily newspaper circulations and brand awareness in Prince William and Culpeper Counties, VA through direct selling, implementation and execution of diverse marketing programs and promotions to a diverse group of businesses and consumer groups. Customer-service oriented individual to oversee newspaper sales and deliveries in a specified geographic area. This includes contracting carriers, ensuring that deliveries are completed every day in a timely manner, establishing new single-copy outlets (stores and racks). Recruiting and hiring independent contractors to sell home-delivery subscriptions through sampling and other methods. The ideal candidate will have some Managerial experience and the ability to work with a variety of people and handle different operational challenges
