Daily Duties at Forney Electric:
Broad understanding of electrical contracting as well as the NEC. Know the customers, take care of them and be on the look up for new potential customers. Revise electrical drawings and prepare the quotes for the jobs. Get the required permits. Order materials for the jobs. Communicate with the customers about the progress of their jobs. Collect payment from the customers. Control the budgets for each job. Manage a group of 30 non unionized employees. Provide the drawings needed to the electricians working the jobs. Control the amount of hours worked by the electricians. Promote safety among the employees, make sure they were following the safety rules of the company and the customers and wearing the required PPE. Go to all the different projects to make sure that progress was been made.
