Daily Duties at Bechtel Marine Propulsion Corporation:

Provided HR expertise to stabilize and align facility policies, practices and compliance with corporate shared services strategies. Responsible for all HR functions for 500 employees out of 1,200+ industrial manufacturing facility. Qualified and maintained a DOE “L”security clearance. Acted as a liaison between management and union represented employees and non-union professional engineers.• Served as a team member on various Corporate HR Shared Services projects such as HRIS upgrade, OFCCP compliance and audits, Recruiting, FLSA review, and salary survey. • Provided HR consulting services with mid-level and senior executive management on HR related issues such as progressive discipline process, performance improvement plans (PIP), attendance improvement plans (AIP), policies and procedures, investigations, CBAs and their interpretation and application. • Worked with Site Manager, Site HR Manager, and Corporate VP of HR to prepare, plan, conduct, and consult with legal on recommendations in complex investigations and confidential company matters.
