Daily Duties at Idahoan Foods, Llc:

Deliver professional expertise and dependability to the department and company. Lead and develop a department of four (two remote) direct reports in providing proactive support and consulting services to various levels of management and employees at three industrial plants and the corporate office. Workplace Culture: Analyzes the effectiveness of personnel policies and practices.Recommends suitable revisions to management based on results of analysis. Provides guidance to supervisors and employees on problems to promote a work environment where people are treated with respect. Compensation & Benefits: Manages relationship with various insurance carriers and benefit providers and recommends any changes to the employee benefit program to management.Maintains an active salary and position classification program, providing information to managers about the rationale, scope, and usage of classification procedures and assisting them, as necessary,in applying this information to job descriptions. Responsible for management of annual compensation merit increase process. Staffing Management: Principal technical adviser to management on the personnel needs of the business. Anticipates personnel requirements and ensures a well-balanced and well-integrated staff. Responsible for recruiting, screening, and interviewing potential salaried and administrative employees. HR Measurement: Overviews flow of HR-related information including head count, data entry,retrieval and generation of standard and ad-hoc reports. Manages data integrity and maintains the internal Company system for values, codes, tables, and security and backup files. Assists management in developing and preparing a personnel budget to be submitted to the Board for approval. Operates within adopted budget unless management approves an exception. Organizational Development: Attends quarterly management meetings and annual sales,distribution, and operations meetings. Workplace Law: Assists management with interpretation of labor law issues working with corporate legal counsel. Monitors development in safety, occupational health, and workers';compensation issues. Acts as the Company's ranking representative in dealing with federal agencies such as, EEOC, etc. Advises management on government compliance on the Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Employment Opportunity Act, Workers' Compensation Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and other government statutes and programs affecting personnel administration or the health and safety of employees.
