Daily Duties at The Medicines Company:
As a Critical Care Hospital Specialist with the Medicines Company, I was responsible for the Launch , Market Access, Education , Promotion and Sales of IV Anti Hypertensive Cleviprex used in Neurological Hypertensive Crisis and IV Anti- Coagulant Angiomax used in Place of Heparin during PCI Perioperative Hypertensive Crisis, and Rapid Onset Hypertension due to stroke, trauma , aneurysm and other CNS conditions. Selling AMy primary physician call points were Neurology and Anesthesiology , Interventional Neurointensivists and Neurosurgeons. Gaining Market access, Formulary Wins and Major Account Conversions are my strong points. My Cleviprex Launch was an extreme success. I ranked among the top 10 among 160 representatives. GainING Formulary Approval and Major Account Conversion of Thomas Jefferson Neuroscience Hospital in Philadelphia was one of my Launch highlights. I was asked by upper management to take on Thomas Jefferson Neuroscience as a special project. I was promoted to the Strategic Development team of major accounts nationally. Additionally I sold the IV anticoagulant Angiomax used in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) in place of Heparin. Angiomax was much more expensive than Heparin but produced better patient outcomes including less major bleeding. I was instrumental in developing our Value Message Of the importance of the reduction of major adverse outcomes, emphasis on quality vs drug acquisition price.
