Daily Duties at Johnson Inc.:
§ Manage staff and service contractors to program and produce various phases of event production for Richmond Jazz Festival, RVA Grooves, Big Apple Classic, Freedom Classic Festival and Fridays at Sunset Concert Series, including: artist booking and logistics, concert production, event layout and design, warehousing management, transportation and parking, security, operations, event decorations and signage, manage execution on-site § Liaise with staff and partner agencies to assist with the conceptualization and execution of sponsorship activation elements and deliverables § Work with various Project Managers on defining client expectations and desired outcomes, PR campaign strategy, research, and analysis; Clients include City of Richmond, Virginia State Board of Elections, City of Petersburg, Virginia and Richmond Redevelopment and Housing § Assist with creative development of event/campaign collateral § Creation and copyediting of speeches, RFP’s, scope of services and contracts § Preparation of event timelines, schedules, event information kits, recaps and other communication documents § Responsible for event budgeting, expense tracking, payments and reconciliation
