Daily Duties at Johnson Controls Inc.:
All things Finance. My boss handled the political end of the contract while I did the Finance end. This included month end close which included detailed journal entries, cost to guarantee analysis, trade working capital analysis, formal balance sheet analysis, client allocation of cost per site based on square footage, Senior Mgmt. PowerPoint presentations, monthly financial package for management, detailed reserve analysis for Accts. Receivable, analysis of Accts. Payable, Unbilled Revenue & Unearned Revenue. I was responsible for forecasting annual, quarterly, monthly Rev & Margin, TWC and Bridge to Pricing Model. I also designed and implemented OT models. There was also ad hoc assignments that usually resulted in a new financial model to provide efficiency.
