Daily Duties at One Up Innovations, Inc.:

TASKS COMPLETED AS A/P MANAGER AT ONEUP INNOVATIONS DAILY: Verify and enter vendor invoices Pay invoices / print checks Enter EFT payments/ manual checks & apply payment to open invoices Create debit memos as necessary Generate various reports for analysis and decision support Answer phone calls & emails Administrator of UPS.com and FedEx.com user accounts (as needed) WEEKLY: Audit UPS invoice for accuracy and cost coverage Match check stubs to paid invoices and file MONTHLY: Reconcile Credit Card statements (13 cards) – confirm purpose of purchases, enter credit card charges as payable; offset any open invoices that are paid by credit card Run reports to calculate royalties/commissions owed to outside parties; book amount as payable Generate credit request for cost of goods and shipping charges shipped by vendor’s request Calculate the dollar value of inventory transactions from Raw Materials, through Work in Process, into Finished Goods, and then as Cost of Goods Sold; book appropriate amounts to the GL, as our ERP system only books transactions to the sub-ledger Reconcile GL accounts for Prepaid Advertising, Prepaid Insurance, Prepaid Other, Deferred Rent Expense, and Inventory-in-Transit QUARTERLY: File claims for damages and lost packages with UPS and FedEx Update Fixed Assets & Depreciation ledger and reconcile with GL Adjust Current & Long Term debt accounts Calculate percentage of year-to-date purchases from individual vendors Calculate the year-to-date amount of interest expenses paid Assist with filing of 10-Q or 10-K as needed Assist in managing quarterly physical inventory counts of Raw Materials, Work in Process, and Finished Goods; supervise and assist with associated data entry ANNUALLY: Prepare and mail 1099-MISC and 1099-INT forms to appropriate parties Prepare and file the company’s Personal Property Tax in two counties (building straddles county line between DeKalb and Gwinnett counties.) MISCELLANEOUS: Projects as assigned: Piece work analysis/Eton efficiencies Created ABC analysis of finished goods inventory for cycle counts
