Daily Duties at Higher Colleges Of Technology :

 Created and implemented the increase in the visibility of the institution both nationally and internationally  Enhanced, sustained and strengthened positive relations between HCT and its’ community  Coordinate HCT relations with industries, businesses, government offices, schools, Alumni, and students’ parents etc.  Provided strategic advice to the Vice Chancellor of new partnership opportunities with the community  Promoted the students’ achievement stories, as it is one of the best ways to send positive messages to the college community  Managed student recruitment campaigns since 2005 where student numbers had increased from 12,000 to 21,000  Identified opportunities for partnerships and work with organizations to develop many new career and academic programs  Played a substantial role in planning, organizing and marketing International events with more than 1,000 students from across the world; such as Education without Borders (EWB)  Worked with the Vice Chancellor in creating the HCT foundation initiatives  Planned various HCT events such as graduation ceremonies and international conferences  Managed outreach, marketing and public relations activities  Approved all HCT publications and multimedia production  Approved publishing all English and Arabic articles in newspapers  Created a college media center and social media unit  Maintained an outstanding relationship with local and international media  Approved all colleges’ publications, multimedia productions and disseminations  Ensured that HCT community relations contacts database was up to date
