Daily Duties at Strayer University:
Chief Academic and Operational Officer responsible for campus operation, academic quality, coordinating operations, managing fiscal and retention requirements, resolving faculty, staff, and student concerns. Campus Size: 1200 students and 130 full- and part-time faculty members. Met or exceeded all graduation and placement metrics established by university. Successfully introduced customer services process to Academic and Admission that met and exceeded the DOE’s and Accreditations concerns related to fair practices. Implemented practices to improve every metric used to track Admissions activity which resulted in improved retention and student engagement. Interacts with University administrators, community and civic leaders, local secondary and higher education school officials. Executive Administrative Officer who manages personnel, financial, student services, and the overall appearance and administrative operations. Hires, evaluates, and supervises academic staff. Focuses on academic administration, classroom management, and academic quality. Develops and coordinates course schedules. Ensures administrate compliance with academic policies, procedures, and standards. Manage the campus’s international program ensuring compliance with all federal regulataions. Implemented the Academic Success Program; now a model for the Region.
