Daily Duties at Jarden Corporation:
* Key member of the execute management team for Jarden's Quickie Manufacturing Lumberton facility, provided HR support to El Paso TX and Mexico. I also provided safety support for all Quickie locations and NUK facilities. * Develop initiatives and programs * Provide leadership to management regarding employee development, policies and practices, staffing, compensation, communications and employee relations. * Responsible for staffing at all levels including managing fluctuations in temporary staffing needs * Lead and develop HR team * Lead and manage a staff of HR associates to deliver customer focused services and initiatives. * Develop “proactive" associate relations and communication programs. * Review and ensure competitiveness of the benefit, compensation, salary, and job evaluation programs. * Ensure legal compliance * Direct the training and development activities to assure development of critical skills and an environment of engagement in the business for all associates. * Manage safety program for all JHFNA locations * Represent Quickie in the community * Handle relationships with vendors includes to include temporary labor and vending service
