Daily Duties at 404th Civil Affairs Battalion (Airborne):
Lead, plan, train, deploy and redeploy Civil Affairs Companies to support identified chains of commands in Iraq and Afghanistan. Plan, train, deploy and redeploy large packages of Civil Affairs enablers to support 13 Provincial Reconstruction Teams in Afghanistan. Conduct rear area sustainment operations. Build and sustain airborne operations capabilities to ensure rapid deployment in support of the Global Response Force.
