Daily Duties at Ubm Life Sciences:

Primary responsibilities include planning, creating, and executing marketing programs through a range of marketing channels, including webinars, events, direct mail, emails, podcasts, white papers, social media content, readership surveys, other content marketing channels. A major component of my function is the development of effective and compelling digital and print marketing content, including content for media kits, articles, scripts, case studies, data sheets, brochures, product launches, presentations, websites, emails, whitepapers, other marketing communication vehicles. • Plan, create, and execute marketing strategy for five brand through a range of marketing channels, including e-blasts, webinars, events, direct mail, social media, readership surveys, advertisements in print, digital and eNews issues • Maintain calendar for all promotions and communications going to existing and prospective members, subscribers, advertisers • Communicate all promotional activities of CHROMacademy to client partner with actionable feedback for improved results • Develop customized, compelling, effective content for digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, data sheets, media kits, e-mail blasts, case studies, scripts, presentations, webpages, whitepapers, other marketing vehicles • Ensure content reaching readers and advertisers has consistent branding, messaging, benefit proposition by communicating with publishers, sales, other marketing teams, Audience Development • Conduct all phases of e-mail marketing, including message creation, target lists, scheduling, responsive design, blast testing, A/B testing on subject lines, from lines, day of week, time of day, champion subject line testing and measurement • List selection for all outgoing e-mail blasts targeted to various advertiser and reader audience segments using subscriber behavioral database of over 1,000,000 records and advertiser database of over 300,000 contacts • Limit list fatigue by working with other brand marketing teams in properly scheduling promotional efforts of all brands • Update online content using Dreamweaver and Drupal content management system • Develop social media content for editorial, sales to implement to promote brand awareness and higher engagement • Promote sponsored spaces including dedicated e-messaging, webinars, podcasts, white papers, other content marketing channels • Develop lead generation strategy for advertisers by implementing multi-platform strategies on websites, print, digital and eNews spaces as well as targeted messaging to specific list segments for maximized return. Some successes have included increasing ad impressions by 120% and CTR by 114%. • Provide publisher with monthly report for sponsor ad impressions, ad click thru rates, leads generated, e-blast statistics • Suggest and implement strategies for maximized efficiency, ROI, sales for brands, results for advertisers • Follow digital best practice standards employing SEO tools, keywords, page tags, on page factors, off page factors, inbound links, tactics aimed at improved organic search engine results ranking, higher website traffic, social media engagement • Measure results of all outgoing e-mail communications and adjust messaging, delivery, audiences-message combinations in order to influence a higher response to the call to action in message. Successes have included heightened newsletter open rates of 26 - 31% on a consistent basis versus historical open rates of 15 – 20%. • Track campaign metrics for all of a brand’s marketing campaigns, provide data analysis to team and implement changes as needed for increased open rates and click thru rates. Successes have included getting average of 29% open rate for equivalent campaigns that rendered average of 17% historically, improved lead generation for channel sponsors. • Manage relationships with third party vendors including designers, production, HCL Technologies • Attend trade shows to induce additional subscriptions and educate prospective advertisers
