Established HR and Safety departments. Transforming HR from an administrative function to a strategic partner. Developed, trained supervisors, and implemented a disciplinary process and hourly performance process. Develop policies including safety, discipline, leave, etc. Advised al levels of management on federal and state laws, policy, staffing, safety, cost reduction, and succession planning. Evaluated and selected vendors including recruiters, temporary staffing, and agencies performing background checks. Conducted labor market/salary surveys and implemented hourly pay adjustments while adhering to tight budgetary constraints. Managed all Workers' Compensation and return to work activities.
