Daily Duties at California Shock Trauma Air Rescue (Calstar):
Manage the implementation of services, policies and programs through Human Resources as well as throughout the organization; advise the Executive Leadership team. Act as Change Agent and lead Organizational Development process. Lead organizational efforts for Performance Management Process including conducting webinars introducing process, teaching goal development, reviewing goals for accuracy and completion, and 360 process follows established deadlines. Lead and manage compensation and benefits administration process and develop policies. Prove insight and input to all employee benefits and compensation strategies. Orchestrate the recruiting and staffing efforts to ensure a superior workforce. Provide guidance to Directors and Managers to ensure compliance with, policies, State and Federal laws. Provide counseling to employees and lead conflict resolution efforts. Manage all payroll functions including biweekly payroll, bonuses, and retirement plans. Conduct internal investigations and make recommendations. Develop succession plans and advice on employee development plans and training efforts. Advise on any reduction in force efforts including planning and execution. Manage development and training on a variety of HR related topics such as Sexual Harassment Prevention, Violence in the Workplace, Communication, New Hire Orientation, etc. Responsible for submission of EEO1 report and compliance with Affordable Care Act (ACA) requirements.
