Fit-out new DC to reach CFDA’s standard and ensure uninterrupted work. Negotiated and audited international/domestic shipping contracts and relationships with providers for logistics. Differentiated customers and drove satisfaction by using logistics best practices to identify/implement programs. Streamlined escalations by establishing, documenting, and improving procedures with partners and stakeholders. Proactively monitored inbound/outbound operations; created continuous cost improvement strategies. Increased full rate (85% to 92%) in 18 months; optimized and reduced E&O inventory ($4M to $2.5M) in 1 year Grew imports/exports by establishing relationships with forwarding company, Broker, CIQ Bureau and Customs. Improved inbound goods receiving/delivery rate and met internal/external expectations by optimizing procedures. Sourced products, screened suppliers, selected optimal matches, and ensured trade compliance regulations. Coordinated with marketing, RA, global DC, manufacturing, and demand/supply planner teams. Improved service by visiting customers, growing supply chain knowledge, liaising with overseas/local coworkers. Minimized risk and loss by proactively evaluating stock shortage and potential losses and communicating with global/domestic teams to evaluate lead time checks, check alternative goods options, and implement solutions.
