Daily Duties at The Boeing Company:

Acts as an authorized agent of the Company with responsibility to commit Company resources through contacts and agreements. Oversees supplier activities and is an active participant in the acquisition process. Assists in collaboration with business partners and other functional groups to manage sourcing strategies. Supports supply chain integration or enterprise process improvement teams. Integrates business partner needs to establish and document procurement requirements. Assists in the development of procurement solutions that best meet business partner requirements. Supports source selection activities including preparing bid packages, conducting bidder conferences and leading the proposal analysis process. Develops negotiation strategy, assists in negotiation of contract terms and conditions and prepares contractual documents and agreements. Administers contracts by interpreting and enforcing terms and conditions, documenting decisions and administering changes; ensures compliance with procedures and contract requirements. Manages supplier performance to build strong supplier relationships (e.g., sets performance expectations, measures performance, holds performance reviews and implements improvement plans).
