The company lacked any innovative new capabilities and 80% of the incremental revenue was largely resulting from Price Increases. This warranted the newly appointed President to bring on this role and me as the first hire to the Executive Team. The goal was to foster a culture of innovation and revolutionized the process for taking new products to market, establishing a new product development strategic roadmap in alignment with the company’s strategic plan. Also effectively motivate and engage the staff to understand and embrace the plan.
