Daily Duties at Home Depot :
Managed and developed cashiers as well as monitoring their performance, and their processes in order to keep the levels of performance that is set by the Home Depot. As a Front End Supervisor I was assertive, extroverted, energetic, enthusiastic, confident and optimistic not only with my cashiers but with customers and their needs. I was a trainer, coach, and mentor to help cashiers to obtain their next level of achievement. Part of the duties I was required to perform was to keep the front end equipment efficient and operational. I was expected to maintain reports and metrics set forth by the Home Depot and maintain the front end merchandise to the plans of the vendors. I worked with vendors to maintain their merchandise and to keep the sets efficient for the most optimum sales.
What they like about Home Depot :
A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.
