Daily Duties at Njvc:

Supports 50k+ configuration item network spanning 3 networks. Strong working knowledge of ARS systems such as Remedy ARS. Daily POC for daily configuration item updates.Technical point of contact for day-to-day activities related to specific systems. Configuration Identification (CI) – Identify the COTS, GOTS, firmware, custom SW and documentation (CIs) for each system. Configuration Change Control – Work with the system Configuration Management Boards to coordinate builds and ensure change control is maintained for the operational baseline. Configuration Status Accounting – Track and report changes to the operational baseline by system at each site. Software Installations - Assisting the system administrator with the planning and installation of custom software releases and upgrades. Coordinating multi-site activities and various other daily activities as tasked by the Configuration Management Operations Manager or Senior Manager. Work as a part of a transition team and IPT in support of the assigned segment(s). Writes and maintains updated Change Requests and Problem Reports in Service Center or Remedy. Utilized and maintained share point joint sites across 3 seperate networks. Actively conducts or participate in Configuration Managements Boards and other meetings providing critical support. Performs audits to determine the integrity of the systems baseline. Identifies baseline and tracks change. Uses Remedy CMDB to maintain configuration items (CI) and relationships. Audits CIs on a monthly basis. Observes approved policy, processes and procedures. Created support documentation of newly developed processes and procedures to assist in the gathering, updating, or removal of equipment within of the Change Management Database (CMDB).
